Juraś Hubarevič is elected the MFF Chairman

October 16 — The reporting and election conference has chosen the new leadership of the Movement For Freedom (MFF).

The organisation head was elected by secret ballot. 59 delegates gave their votes for Juraś Hubarevič (Yuras Hubarevich), Alaksandr Lahviniec (Aliaksandr Lahvinets) took the second place with 51 votes, and Alieś Taŭstyka (Aliaksandr Taustyka) took the third place (2 votes). The counting commission found three ballot papers invalid.

Halina Skarachod (Halina Skarakhod) became First Deputy Chairperson. Juraś Mieliaškievič (Yuras Meliashkevich) and Kiryl Stasieĺka (Kiryl Staselka) became the other two Deputy Chairmen.

The secret ballot has also elected the MFF Council. It includes 28 persons.

Firstly, these are the organisation head and his deputies. Secondly, these are the regional coordinators: Siaržuk Bachun (Minsk), Vitaĺ Amiaĺkovič (Minsk region), Liavon Haravy (Vitsiebsk region), Aliaksandr Silkoŭ (Mahiliou region), Aliaksiej Atroščanka (Homiel region), Juraś Kazakievič (Brest region), and Vadzim Lievon (Hrodna region).

The following persons have also become MFF Council members: former MFF Chairman Aliaksandr Milinkievič (Alaksandr Milinkevich), Alaksandr Lahviniec, Viktar Jančurevič, Anton Astapovič, Chrystafor Žaliapaŭ, Voĺha Damaskina, Aliaksiej Kavaliec, Dzianis Turčaniak, Andrej Jurkoŭ, Raman Kisliak, Voĺha Bykoŭskaya, Ina Kuliej, Anelia Kambalava, Antoś Žylko, Alina Nahornaja, Alieś Taŭstyka, and Arciom Liava.
